As an independent consultant I am often asked to recommend 3rd party products to enhance GroupWise. Below are the products that I have successfully implemented with 100% customer satisfaction. Please understand, I value my reputation, so I only recommend products that I have successfully implemented. My criteria for satisfaction are:

This 'turn-key' solution saves GroupWise adminstrators hours upon hours of SPAM filter building. Out of the box, GWGuardian is ready to stop SPAM and viruses BEFORE they get into your GroupWise system. My customers have forgotten GWGuardian is in place, because they rarely have to administer it.

Novell GroupWise
This package has it all: Email, Calendaring, Document Management and most importantly its free from virus unlike its weaker competitor -Exchange. How is that possible? GroupWise messaging is natively encrypted using a Proprietary 40-bit key. In other words, viruses do not know how to propogate, making your email secure and virus free. Small note: If you receive an attachment with a virus in it and you double-click to open it, the virus launches into Windows, not GroupWise.
